Adaminaby Accomodation

Adaminaby Cottage in August

Adaminaby Cottage – August

Looking for Adaminaby accomodation? We have a two bedroom Adaminaby cottage (Snowfish Cottage) available for rent. Because we have a lot of personal stuff in the house we are very picky about who we allow to stay and keep the third bedroom for our private stuff. If you’re looking for a large multi-family stay, or a ski-party house, please try somewhere else. Basically, it’s either one family, or groups of middle aged friends!

It’s a clean and tidy cottage with lounge, kitchen, and two bedrooms we rent out. Bedroom 1) queen bed and single, and bedroom 2) single and bunk (small room). There’s a wet area inside the back door, main bathroom with shower; second toilet with a bath and laundry; and a third outside toilet. There’s a pergola and bbq at the back.

The new kitchen

The new kitchen

The renovated kitchen has an electric stove, fridge, microwave, and espresso machine (BYO Woolies Caffitally capsules). The lounge has a TV with DVD player, and a small wood heater (as well as a gas heater).

The cottage is Council DA approved and low season rates start at $120/night for a couple using one bedroom; $200 peak season.

Extra beds are $20 per person.

Guests on boat charters are welcome to stay at the cottage for $40 per person twin share; $60 if you want your own room.

All rates are BYO linen or sleeping bag, and towels.

Minimum stay is 2 nights (4 nights peak season).

  • Deposit by bank transfer to confirm booking is 50%.
  • Refund of 80% of deposit for cancellation upto 14 days before arrival by email request – no refunds after that.
  • Full payment is due 7 days before arrival.
  • There’s a cleaning charge of $80 for all visits.

There are plenty of DVDs for rainy days, board games, and playing cards. And heaps of novels and local things to do books (if you’re not fishing or skiing).

The wood burner in the lounge takes the chill off the whole house if you keep it lit on winter days. Strictly no boots/outside shoes inside the house, and definitely no smoking. It’s a five minute walk to the pub and the shops; 15 minutes from Lake Eucumbene. Tantangara is about 35 minutes, Providence portal 20 minutes, and Kiandra Bridge 30 minutes. It’s 40 minutes to Cooma; an hour and 20 minutes to Tumut; and a bit over an hour to Jindabyne (90 km).
